About Us

Barnet Young Labour is a grassroots network of young Labour activists committed to building a fairer Barnet which works for the many, not just the privileged few. The last sixteen years of Conservative rule in our borough have seen council services gutted through mass-privatisation and a heartless disregard for the community. It doesn’t have to be this way. On May 3rd, we have the power to change this and elect a Labour majority council to Barnet for this first time in history. We have a vision and a credible, fully funded manifesto which we can’t wait to deliver. But we need your help. We believe that young people are the future and should be as involved as possible in creating the council Barnet residents deserve and a borough that puts the cares of the community first. So, we’ve been organising events specifically aimed at young people and we hope you’ll come along
